What I Have Learned

Absorbing knowledge through reading can occur within any classroom. I feel that reading should be incorporated into every single subject across the curriculum.

I have learned that many students learn better with a hands-on approach. The only way to master a skill is to practice the skill and correct the limitations.

A teacher should offer extra reinforcement in a subject when a student is having difficulty. For many children, it will take more than one lesson to master a concept.

I believe hands-on activities should be incorporated through cooperative learning. When children work together, the learning is interactive.
