Compassion Card Mailboxes:
Students have the opportunity to write "compassion cards" to others in the building. Compassion cards are ways to show others that we care about them. In our guidance lessons, all 1st and 2nd grade students write and receive a compassion card from another student in their class. In 3rd grade, all students write a compassion card to themselves. When the mailboxes are in place, students can write to anyone in the school. Mailboxes are in place from around mid-December through February.
